About funding. SIL is usually funded under Core Supports in an NDIS plan, and requires SIL funding to be included in your plan. Your plan is individual, so we’ll help you check what yours covers. We can’t make decisions about funding or eligibility. Only the NDIA can.
Where we offer it: Hunter region, Greater Sydney and South East Queensland. [Build note: confirm coverage before launch]
Common questions
Can I choose who supports me?
Yes. We match support workers to you and introduce them before support starts. If someone isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll change the arrangement.
Can I live with people I choose?
Where possible, yes. We talk through shared and individual options with you and never place you somewhere you haven’t seen and agreed to.
What if my needs change?
Support is reviewed with you regularly and adjusted when your needs or goals change. You can also raise a change at any time. You don’t need to wait for a review.
I don’t have SIL funding yet. Can you still help?
We can talk through how SIL works and what evidence usually supports a request, and our support coordination team can help you prepare for a plan discussion. Decisions about funding sit with the NDIA.
